Let's go a little memory check. Robert Nester Marley (1945-1981) known more as Bob Marley is one of the pioneers of reggae music. He inspired loads of people with his music. Like all people there is the good and not so good part of them, however it seems the not so good part of him is a highly praised part. Yes am referring to the weed aspect. Amongst the reggae community I daresay it a key element not saying everyone partakes in it. But to judge it isn't really my place so may I not digress. My point is that as much as Bob Marley is respected for his music his name has also become synonymous with weed. In Ghana most people make comments like "me den ma paddy in deal be tight pass bob Marley den weed". So therefore I believe the street name 'Marley's' is perhaps a way of glorifying the name. So yes, it a drug and a chance to 'enlighten', I see it beyond that. I see it as an ideology, so now allow me to explain my ideology of Marley's.

By this definition it means we all got our versions of Marley's the little things that makes our life inspiring and worth living. The things we run to when we feeling down and like the drug, it raises us to the climax. So I will say what my Marley is; most people who know me by now can take a guess and might get it right. It's usually a balance between earthly pleasures and highly pleasures. However after an in-depth search I realized that my Marley is art.

As much as I try to hide it shows in every form and every day. I said art because I love all forms of it considering I partake in different aspects of it. I draw, write, rap, sing, and create ideas and concepts. In considering being multi-talented might have been the catalyst for me to turn out to be such an arts junkie. I listen to music every second. I believe if I should ever get a problem in my older self it will be ear-related. I love all sorts of art from tattoos to architecture to photography and any inventive kind of art. The reason I love art so is possible because my childhood was developed around art. Unlike most kids who spent time outdoors, most of my childhood was spent indoors either drawing, reading or stuck behind my TV set. The TV was my best friend, it is quite funny and ironic that I rarely watch TV now. My Maman tells me she used to leave me in front of the TV set and could go practically on a world tour and she will still come meet me in front of the TV. Therefore I say with all vim that I was raised in an arts way. Whenever I do an arts piece, I feel super elated and now my love is diverting a little in photography. Well it's not really shocking considering am in a communications school. I have realized that my love of photography doesn't grow from taking pictures of people but of buildings. Slowly planning on taking a photography tour. Hope my vim doesn't crush soon. So I have given you a little view of my mind. However we don't take Marley's alone, we throw in some pills and my pills is a little secret. Maybe in another story I will spill my PILLS.
